I am grateful to Jeremy Reizenstein for pointing out that the miraculous appearance of the archives of Belogski could, in fact, be a proof for Gosse's Omphalos theory of the age of the universe! While Belogski has an archive going back to June 2001, the entire blog actually came into existence last week, with its history intact.
